Samsung Galaxy S III is going to be experiencing a really tough battle in the smartphone market as iPhone 5 is already launched and we have observed happening right away as Apple is now finished up with all of their first pre-order inventory and delayed the shipping dates as well because of the very reason so definitely it’s going to be a stiff competition between the two. In order to stay on top, Samsung have to provide something to attract more consumers but as they have already rolled out the device, the only option left out is updating or introducing some new colors. We already know that Galaxy S III is coming in several different colors soon so the final option that makes the Galaxy S III a complete phone is updated to Jelly Bean.
Samsung has already promised at IFA Berlin last month that Galaxy S III will soon receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update but didn’t announce the exact date or anything. CNET UK recently confirmed that Samsung is going to release the Android Jelly Bean update in October for Galaxy S III. CNET wrote, “The Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system will be available on the Galaxy S3 from October.” Though still the exact date is unknown but at least it is confirmed now that the Jelly Bean update is coming and that too in a couple of week’s time.
