Jelly Bean has been ported to many devices since its launch at the Google’s annual I/O conference and it doesn’t look like the development in porting the Jelly Bean ROM to more devices will stop anytime soon. Recently HTC HD2 received the Jelly Bean ROM and it worked quite fine. Even now CyanogenMod also offering a Jelly Bean CyanogenMod10 preview as well.
Though now its time for some other devices to receive the Jelly Bean ROM and HTC Desire HD, MyTouch Slide 4G and Motorola Defy are the ones that recently ported to Jelly Bean. You might think that these devices are quite older and not sure if they have the hardware that will support the Jelly Bean so let me tell you all that HTC HD2 is even older than the mentioned above devices and its working fine on HD2 so I suppose Jelly Bean should work fine on Desire HD, MyTouch Slide 4G and Defy. Meanwhile the ROMs are not stable yet and there are some things that are not working. For MyTouch Slide 4G and Motorola Defy the list of things that are not working is probably quite long so it’s not ready yet for daily use while ROM for HTC Desire HD is almost ready and here’s a list of things that are not working:
Mic – works in calls but crashes apps
Audio routing – in phone calls audio comes out the rear speaker and when a headset is plugged in audio comes out of both headset and speakers
