Samsung Galaxy S III Kernel Source Released

Some of the top features had already been extracted from this new Samsung’s sensation long time before its release, and now Samsung has recently released a kernel source repository for Samsung Galaxy S III. This GPL-compliant Kernel source code will allow developers to create custom kernels and ROMs. The source code can be downloaded from Samsung’s original open source directory but if you want to download it from there, you need a login for that. To make things easier for developers, a member of Xda-developer, cdesai, has made a github organization for the kernel source, allowing the developers to access more efficient code. There are two branches of this kernel source, master and stock. Stock branch is unmodified while master branch can be used by developers to make tweaks and bug fixes for future releases.
