Mark Zuckerberg Updated his Status from Single to ‘Married’

Mark Zuckerberg weds his longtime girlfirend Priscilla Chan; a day after his company went public in one of the largest tech IPO in history. The couple met at Harvard nearly nine years ago, about the same time Zuckerberg was creating Facebook, and have been together ever since. A week full of happenings for Mr.Zuckerberg with first celebrated his birthday on Monday and also her bride graduated from the prestigious UC San Francisco School of Medicine where she studied pediatrics. Last but not the least his company went public this Friday. The wedding ceremony took place in Zuckerberg’s backyard with less than 100 guests who came for a party to celebrate Ms Chan’s graduation from medical school. And according to Facebook’s Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg one of the guests at the party, they were told after they arrived that they were not simple party guests but wedding guests. “Everybody was shocked,” one of the guest, said.
For the wedding ceremony Mr.Zuckerberg opted for a black suit and tie with a white shirt instead of his traditional hoodie in which you have seen him more often while Ms Chan wore a traditional wedding dress with veil and lace. Zuckerberg gave a very simple ruby ring to his newly bride which he designed himself for his bride, according to one of the guest. The wedding feast was served in family style and came from the couple’s favourite Palo Alto restaurants. Mr. Zuckerberg and Ms Chan also quickly updated their status on the social networking site that they are married to each other. And within seconds, people around the world added thousands of like to this activity.
We wish the lovely bride and groom the very best for the future and hope it brings both, luck and success, to Mr. Zuckerberg that would help him to go even further developing his $104 billion company. Congrats Zuck!
